Is it normal to experience changes in brightness when using the Black eQualizer? I guess it's related to the darker colours being made lighter, but would just like to clarify it. Anyone else experience similar behaviour?
So it's actually a bug in the monitor firmware? Also.. I've never played with these VT tweaks, are they worth a look?
I've been really enjoying the settings listed earlier in the thread with 'Single Strobe: [OFF];' feels very nice now =p. Just guess I'll start tweaking again when I come around to ...
None of the strobe settings apply if blur reduction is off. Just you may see some faint inversion lines on the desktop if using VT tweaks.
But what was supposed to happen is, when using strobe phase 000 (area 0), and 50hz single strobe, turning on blur reduction should cause a MASSIVE increase in ...
AlfieJPalmer your monitor didn't blow up or anything right? j/k, are you still here? I have a feeling 50hz single strobe will fail to work. (VT tweaks at 50hz is not really 50hz single strobing .it's *60hz* single strobing pulses at 50hz because VT Tweaks that make the screen go out of ...
To access the service menu, turn the monitor off, hold down the menu key (second one from the bottom) and press the power button. When the monitor powers up, press the menu key and you should be presented with a blue ...
When enabling blur reduction the screen goes black and I can see a kind-of silhouette of the windows that are open. The 50hz setting didn't save with CRU so I just added the 1080p50 preset; didn't notice this in CCC before.
I'm at work at the moment; i'll try it as soon as I get in and report back. What sort of thing should I be expecting?
Also, if I recall correctly; I can only set the following refresh rates: 29 30 60 100 120 144. Should I attempt to force 50hz under a custom resolution?
Thanks for the reply buddy. The S-Switch that comes with the monitor decided to stop working. It's not necessarily a monitor related issue (could be the device itself) but thought i'd claim it on warranty after weighing out almost £300 and it stopping after 3 days =).
