GSYNC and SLI not working for 2x 770s

I have SLI 770s and GSYNC will not work when I have SLI on. The game will run at what looks like 6 fps and crash usually before it even finishes loading. It usually freezes or crashes and I can't even alt-tab, or ctrl-alt-delete, I end up having to manually restart using the physical power button. I...

Re: Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

I think I fixed it because it is working now.

It think the LVDS and LCD power cables were swapped in the wrong wholes, but I'm not sure, I just reconnected everything.

Re: Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

Well I reinstalled Windows 8.1 and it the monitor worked and windows even identified it as a GSYNC monitor instead of generic monitor, although it was a little weird because it set the refresh rate to 64hz and didn't let me change to anything else. It did let me set the resolution though. But as soo...

Re: Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

Upgrading to Windows 8.1 didn't fix anything. I'll probably just reinstall windows tomorrow.

Re: Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

Last ditch idea -- try going to Device Manager, select View, select Hidden Devices -- uninstall all your old hidden devices. -- even try uninstalling the monitor driver (so you have no monitors), and then rebooting with the GSYNC monitor plugged in. No luck with that either. I think I might try doi...

Re: Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

It sounds to me like it is most likely an SLI-related issue since PoWn3d_0704 also had issues with the new monitor and SLI. I would recommend disabling SLI, or even removing the second video card from your computer to see if that changes the behavior. I tried disabling SLI but still no luck with th...

Re: Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

Hey there, Checklist I can think of: -- Use single monitor mode. -- Make sure you're using the latest Geforce drivers. -- Reboot in Windows Safe Mode. -- Try using a different DisplayPort if you're using SLI -- Full clean uninstall and reinstall of your graphics drivers. The monitor works fine in s...

[fixed] Input Not Detected on GSYNC upgrade - help

So I installed the GSYNC upgrade in my monitor and connected it to the Displayport on my Geforce 770, and the display works fine, it shows the bios booting up and the windows loading screen, I can even enter the bios and change settings using it, but as soon as Windows finishes loading windows does ...

Re: UFO motion test not reading 120hz [fixed]

If I turn on High Performance instead of a Balanced in the power options it works. Otherwise it never syncs no matter what I do. You're using a laptop, or a desktop? If using a desktop, I will amend the instructions to also mention that one needs High Performance Mode for TestUFO. Indeed, High Perf...

Re: UFO motion test not reading 120hz

I'm using a multimonitor setup and it used to go to 120hz in Chrome but now it only goes up to 60hz. It only works in Firefox for me now. I'm not sure if there was an update to the blink rendering engine that broke it or what the deal is. Try turning on AERO mode. It usually fixes the 60Hz problem....
