Re: EVERYONE UPDATE TO V4 FIRMWARE IF YOU CAN!! NEW AMA MODE
So is 2411z better or 2720z better overall when it comes to motion clarity with the new v4 firmware?

Re: LG 24GM77 monitor, a 144Hz monitor with a “lightboost” c
Honestly from my experience DAS seems like a placebo type thing. I'm experiencing slightly snappier feeling mouse panning movements and less tearing but I haven't spent too much time on it. It's probably a common thing amongst 144hz monitors but DAS mode + 144hz + overcapped framerate is decently ...

Re: LG 24GM77 monitor, a 144Hz monitor with a “lightboost” c
It works fine on opera with windows aero but there is zero difference between turning it off and on in games which really confuses me. I'm thinking it's my card or my computer not being able to output constant 120 but I easily cap framerates in tf2... so I don't know if it's the monitor or what ...

Re: LG 24GM77 monitor, a 144Hz monitor with a “lightboost” c
I have this monitor and I'm considering returning it since I mainly bought this monitor to prevent the double image effect for tracking horizontal targets. What's really weird is that the effect is consistent from top to bottom and very uniform. I also noticed some inverted image trails as well. I ...

Re: Looking at xl2411z for gaming, alternatives?
I don't really have a lot of experience in monitors myself but it can't be much worse than my current monitor in terms of color/brightness. I usually play in a well lit room so as long as it isn't too dark it should be good. Thanks for the input.

Looking at xl2411z for gaming, alternatives?
Current setup: 280x, i5-3570k, 8gb memory, 120hz viewsonic 2265wm. Getting a nvidia card is no problem.
Want: Cheap, motion clarity, low input lag, refresh rate.
Would be nice to have: Brightness, decent colors, resolution.
I would say I am pretty competitive in the way that I play, I'd much ...

Re: Asus VG248QE vs BenQ xl2411z or something else
Well the topic above had v2 firmware already and I don't know if the crosstalk/ghosting is prominent/will make a big difference is what I'm asking really.
Also would the lower latency (5ms for my current monitor) and the added refreshrate along with the blur reduction stuff be not worth it to ...

Asus VG248QE vs BenQ xl2411z or something else
I'm looking to purchase a new 144hz monitor and these two look like the best in my price range (200~250) I'd be willing to go up to 300 if the money spent was good enough to warrant it but I've no idea where to go in that regard.
