Re: LG 27" 1440p 240hz OLED Ultragear 27GR95QE
BFI is still important for 60 years of legacy 60fps 60Hz content (And any lower frame rates), but if you can get max Hz framerate, the benefits of strobeless blur reduction now outweigh BFI at 240fps+ on 240Hz+ OLEDs.
Does anyone have hands-on experience with 60 Hz strobed content on N*60 Hz ...

I've come across the Eve Spectrum, now Dough Spectrum, 4k 144 Hz monitor: https://dough.community/t/eve-4k144-spectrum-is-a-fantastic-arcade-cabinet-panel-with-near-crt-motion/29258

@Falkentyne
Thank you. What are the other options besides a "single" strobe?
Let's drop the 50 Hz requirement.
Could something like a 120 Hz strobe + BFI work to achieve a passable 60 Hz display?
Would there be other 4k monitors that are suitable that don't strobe?
@Crazyness
Sorry, I don't follow ...

CRT replacement -- please recommend me a monitor!
Hi all,
I recently got more into several connected "retro" hobbies: Retro gaming via emulation, CRT monitors (including maintenance, calibration, and repair), and CRT shader development.
I am looking for a new monitor that can combine some of the benefits of CRT monitors with more modern ...
