Re: Monitor questiom

Yes, will be safe, this is more of a gimmick i would say (like it's some fancy feature), the monitor can run safely at 500hz but they set it to 480hz so it's properly divided by 30/60fps to avoid motion unsmoothness (if that's a word) on things that run 30/60fps like youtube or some games. In terms ...

Re: Zowie XL2546K/2540K always worth it ?

What game do you play with your XL2540K ? None, I sent it back  Was a while ago, must have been either Apex, Csgo, Valorant or Overwatch where i felt like things blended too much and that's when I realized why Color Vibrance is there in the quick menu. Generally don't like increasing digital v...

Re: Zowie XL2546K/2540K always worth it ?

I liked the speed of xl2540k but image felt too washed out.

well duh, it's TN and I'm not even against TN panels usually but I gotta say this one made me question why i need the motion clarity if can't distinguish elements easily from their background

I also liked the adjustability & ergonomics

Re: If a monitors response times are slower than refresh rate

*EDIT: is 1%-99% GtG relevant? I was certain it was after trying a 165hz with 6.1ms 1%-99%GtG and it just felt clearer than other 165hz that only complied at 5%-95% GtG. I thought it was because each frame was well rendered with each cycle. But then 240hz TN like a Zowie (even without strobe) that ...

Re: Eye pain from Gigabyte M32Q Gaming Monitor, help me understand [eyestrain]

Title "help me understand", beginning of post "I don't need your help", what? Like Chief Blur Buster says, it's useful to try something different. I would advice looking into monitors with QD (Quantum Dot) treatment on the backlight, which emits shifted and longer wavelenghts, less concentrate...

Re: Eye strained, which monitors can I try?

I have astigmatism, and maybe an incorrect prescription because in the evening i get these sort of issues. (Gonna get eyes checked again) I tried increasing ambient lighting, lowering brightness, messing with contrast, gamma, changing color temperatures and these things helped to only a certain exte...

I will be able to check in about 4 hours or so.. do YOU feel the difference tho ?
I don't have it, that's why I'm curious, seems like a really fast monitor on those settings.

In my experience I definitely perceive less input lag when lowering response times by a few ms.

Re: my desperation with the XG2431

I do remember fiddling with every setting (and color modes) but Im assuming I must have not been too focused there to notice anything. wow that's actually quite amazing, response time dropping to 4ms total instead of 7.5 .. I'll try it as soon as I'll get home to my PC, thank you for the tip boomle...

Re: my desperation with the XG2431

XL2546K as advertised : Response Time : 7.6ms Input Lag : 2.3ms (with BFI : 4.7ms) XG2431 : Response Time : 7.5ms Input Lag : 2.7ms (with strobing 2.9ms) so why those "0.4ms" feel like A LOT more this is why i asked if you tried color temp set to "Native" (https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/vie...
