Re: Intel 9900K
9900k is hot, but it's also 8core/16threads @ 5ghz. It's sort of like, well duhh  I've done quite a bit of testing with my 9900k and gotten quite a bit of results. You "can" hit 5gz on air or AIO but it will run hot. here are some pretty pictures I've made up for a video https://i.imgur.com/paX...

Re: HUNTING for the solution for this interesting problem
Yea, looks like you were right. it does cause issues when running 1250+fps on a online server, local server will just speedup the game like in CS:GO and some versions of HL. it happens obviously because they physics to fps or a multiplier that goes out of wack when you reach 1250fps+ causing the ser...

Re: HUNTING for the solution for this interesting problem
I don't recall ever having a problem with high fps in any source game above 1000 like that, the only issue was in local servers were the game would speed up if you went past 1000fps. Are you sure it's not specifically something to do with your PC? Graphics card setting in NVCP? possibly disabling g-...

Re: Acer Predator Z321QU
Small square doesn’t sound right. It do s only work with G-SYNC and will only tell you the hz of the monitor.
There isn’t any best settings, use it whatever but standard with no adjustments is fine

Re: Is that clouding?
Probs not. Looking down on the monitor is unrealistic and will always results in pretty bad results. The second photo is blown way out, it's almost impossible to tell with photos because simply setting changes can cause wildly different results. Here's two images taken two seconds apart. Look with y...

Re: Acer Predator X27 - Fan Warning
I think I'm a select few that actually likes the look of heat sinks but imagine if they did the back of the monitor in a full black aluminum heat sink that dissipated the heat of the LEDs
That would be dope.

Re: Is this amount Clouding / Back Light Bleed Alright?
Even with the camera overexposed it looks fine, but it's almost impossible to tell with photos since a simple adjustment in camera settings can cause wildly different results.

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Well on fast their average was 2.7ms, and you need to consider is that you don't need the full transition before you can see the change. The transition is really fast at first but then slows down when it reaches 80%~ of the transition. The contrast stuff is really strange, apparently they did try a ...
