Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
I would also like to confirm if you have the XB240H(no G-Sync) or the XB240HA since the information screen on my monitor looks different.

Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
I tried using the timings you listed with CRU. I instantly get "Input not supported".
Also, my resolutions automatically seem to scale to full screen. Even at 800 * 600.

Re: XB240H Overclocks to 198 Hz!
I want to try this with an AMD GPU. I have the exact same monitor and on display port as well. I was using 1728 * 1080 at 144HZ for CS:GO up until now.
Can you post a screenshot of your CRU settings for the highest resolution you managed?

How to access service/factory menu on Acer XB270HU?
There is a famed factory menu(seen on the TFTCentral review) which can only be accessed using a certain key combination on this monitor. Did anyone ever figure out how it was actually done?
This is the menu I need to access : http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/images/acer ... 080669.JPG

Re: How to check if a monitor is true 8-Bit?
You can check visually if a monitor is *6 bit* (262,144 colors) vs 8 bit by a simple greyscale gradient test (especially if you expand the test to full screen), and it's rather obvious. 6 bit+FRC (16.2 million colors) vs 8 bit can also be tested visually by zooming in greyscale tests to fullscreen....

Re: Sony Playstation 3D Display is actually a 120 Hz VA moni
There's a lot of hidden gems on the display industry, including HDTVs overclockable to 120Hz ( HDTV 120Hz Refresh Rate HOWTO ), to a few displays that successfully overclocked unexpectedly high, in the Overclocking forums. I've never heard of this 144Hz display, however... If anyone has it; I'd lov...

Sony Playstation 3D Display is actually a 120 Hz VA monitor
While most of you may not be familiar with the existence of such a product, Sony in 2011 released a display by this name(http://us.playstation.com/ps3/accessories/sony-playstation-3d-display-ps3/). This display could be acquired for as low as $99 on Newegg for a refurbished model at one point of tim...

Re: 144Hz IPS Monitor EQD EQ278CG
I checked your link. Still it doesn't say that it is a TN panel.Falkentyne wrote:You tell me :/

it's a freaking TN panel.
Also, response time for IPS monitors is bound to be high. 3 ms could be the GTG response time.
