Oh lord, after reading every single comment on this post I really want to try updating my firmware, to bad I'm not man enough to take a chance on bricking my 500$ monitor. Guess I'll just keep my monitor on V1 and hope that I'll meet a person familiar with linux in the near future or man a bit up.

Would be willing to rent/buy one in Iceland, it costs me like 130$ to get it here and that's way to much for an already 500$ monitor
