Re: How to force 'DISPLAY SCALING'

Finally, if you use a G-Sync monitor, display scaling cannot be used at all. May I ask what you mean by this? This is outdated information. G-Sync displays can now do scaling themselves. Not sure if all of them do, but many definitely do. It's easy to verify with CRU. Run it and inspect the EDID mo...

Re: Mouse Input Lag Fortnite

When using g-sync + vsync, "ultra" low latency mode will cap the FPS using the nvidia FPS limiter. Either disable that (so set low latency mode to "on", not "ultra") and then cap FPS using the game's limiter. Or, if you don't want to disable ULL, use an in-game FPS cap that is lower than the nvidia ...

Check the monitor OSD to see if it switches refresh rate. If yes, then it's perfectly normal.

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO

I want to specify that I'm using it on a Vulkan application (Cemu emulator) without RTTS cap and no cap inside Cemu. Emulators have never been a good target for FPS capping, unfortunately. They need to time their frame presentation to match that of the machine they emulate. So this is probably what...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO

Can anyone help me eliminating tearline with scanline sync x/2 on a 60HZ signal? I've tried -30, -60, -90 etc. but still get it and I'm confused about the SyncFlush since the guide doesn't talk specifically about the scanline sync x/2 method. Thanks :) SyncFlush should be 1 by default I think. If y...

I know that oven was on. Maybe somehow it was related? Anyway it happened once,no reason to be worried?
Even if it happens again there's no need to worry.

Re: 1440p 120hz+ Monitor suggestion for an old XBox 30fps game...

But since I have a Nvidia GPU (1070), will I still be able to use CRU. The Dell monitor is supposed to be officially certified Gsync Compatible but I don't know if that means CRU is usable. I don't see why not. Lots of people use CRU on g-sync/freesync displays. And... how does this play into my Xb...

On another note... I'm seeing some places state that the S2721DGF is 30hz-165hz range, and other places state that it's actually 48hz-165hz... Do you happen to know which is true? No, but you'll be able to find out using CRU. It reads the EDID of the monitor and you can inspect the VRR range there.

As a test, what happens if you cap to 120FPS?
