Re: VG259QM: alt+tab entering ingame again in fullscreen takes too long

Try to delete useless resolution with CRU ( Custom Resolution Utility )

Apparently that's fix also the same issue on the Asus XG27AQMR.

Re: Need help choosing a 240HZ 1ms monitor (mainly debating between the VG259QM and Mag 251rx)

MSI because of the color accuracy and consistency of the panel. Apparently on the Asus you can get "good" panel and the traditional horrible panel that i've had 5 times. Personally i don't recommend the Asus because of the color accuracy/motion clarity was just average like some random IPS 1080p and...

Re: Gigabyte M27Q-X Rev. 2.0 Coming in October - 240Hz, 1440P, RGB... hopefully not KSF?

I figured this was worth posting in the news section for those interested. I have been researching monitors and just happened to see a news article about Gigabyte announcing a new M27Q-X Rev. 2.0 just yesterday. For those unfamiliar with the first revision of the M27Q-X, here is a thread about it f...

Re: VG279QM still worth it in 2023 ?

Ok, i think i read the most threads here about this monitor. It is the 27" Monitor ASUS VG279QM and i speak only as a User of this screen and not a professional. I had a samsung 60 hz monitor and after that a Lenovo G27q-20 165 hz. I felt that I was always at a bit of a disadvantage with the Lenovo...

Re: Monitors msi g253pf 380hz and Asus XG259QN 380hz

Interesting but it is an OC of existing 360hz IPS panel or new panel ? Anyway can you explain what is "vertical refresh rate range" ? i"ve don't understand at all, even with your graph There is a horizontal and vertical refresh rate. The monitor is updated from top to bottom. The value of the horiz...

Re: VG279QM still worth it in 2023 ?

You sure you have the 27'' ? No that's an Intel Core I9-Formula 1 800hz.... Ofc that's a VG279QM > 27 in the name is for 27inch ;) If you check Rtings response time tables for OD 80 and OD 120 , at 120 there is alot of overshoot even with Shadow Boost and rise/fall is just slightly lower. I ...

Re: VG279QM still worth it in 2023 ?

About the colors, I never tried other IPS monitors so I don't know how good or bad VG279QM looks but it is fine for me with Racing mode and color temperature 'Normal'. According to Rtings, with their ICC profile post-calibration file, color inaccuracies are fixed but I read somewhere on BlurBusters...

Re: VG279QM still worth it in 2023 ?

It has quisda panel, you can check through service menu (hold buttons power and joystick). But what's the difference? What's so magic about it? Asus Widget Display works, use this version of DisplayWidget . vg279qm-widget.jpg Like i said, sorry but i've resend this monitor few days ago but i do not...

Re: AW2518HF GHOSTING

Mainly playing Valorant/csgo. Smoothens/clarity I don't have any preference other than 1080p tbh. So I guess a zowie 360hz with dyac but it's kinda expensive. Mmmh, honestly i don't know, Cs:Go and Valorant don't need 1440p at all imho because there aren't a lot of backgrounds ( like some grass/fol...
