Re: Any 1440p 240hz recomendations?

I think your XG2431 is not KSF phosphor backlight? Many 27'' IPS is. There is the ~144hz+ QD options, over here in AUS not much more expensive vs KSF. I don't remember any 240hz QD option. So what I'm saying is I don't think there is a (reasonably priced) 1440p 240hz option without KSF, which you m...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?

Just had my ViewSonic XG2431 delivered. It had a visual defect out of the box which does not inspire confidence in the monitor. Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur or are there better non-strobing options? Does the AOC 2...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?

^ yes absolutely the XG2431 beats the Zowie dyac monitors it also beats their new DYAC 2 monitors cause DYAC 2 has a lot of cross talk at 120 HZ and is unplayable in 60HZ setting Keep in mind that not all people want to play at 60hz in 2024. Strobing or not, everything better than 60hz , that's eve...

Re: The DSC plague strikes again

Setting the monitor to 8bit turns DSC off and removes both of these problems Did you know that on some games 10 bits are not really allowed/activate and then you didn't have your DSC ? Like on Apex Legends. Anyway i've had the AW2723DF at the beginning when it was released and i didn't get any issu...

Re: BenQ XL2546X doubts

540 HZ TN crap that can't even do real 540 HZ mind you those 540 HZ TN are more in line with 240 HZ OLED because of how slow LCD technology is. Comparison of 540Hz TN, 500Hz IPS, 480Hz OLED, 360Hz OLED, 360Hz IPS, 240Hz OLED in Overwatch. No strobing.540_480_comparison.png The IPS Alienware look ho...

Re: BenQ XL2546X doubts

The double sided strobing seems pretty useless at anything below 240 HZ because of severe cross talk, something DYAC 2 was supposed to solve Zowie never claim that DyAc2 will give better performance at lower refresh rate, their monitors are always sold to perform at the desired hertz rate, like the...

Re: BenQ XL2546X doubts

XL2546X is an old TN panel, try something else. It lacks variable refresh rate (G-Sync/Freesync), has more input lag on refresh rates less than 240 Hz (which is no go with 60-120Hz console gaming), bad angles (what TNs are known for). The only upside for this particular model is DyAc aka strobing. ...

Re: BenQ XL2546X doubts

Very difficult to move that fast but here is these Crosstalk test that some people ask me to do ! I've tried my best for doing that.
