Re: Finally proper motion tests in mainstream! RTINGS

It took so many years, but finally the day has come. Finally proper testing, moving camera method and even tests designed to catch the flaws like red ghosting on some types of LCD tech Absolutely agreeing with you ! They went from being completely ignorant years ago, where their motion quality scor...

Re: Viewsonic XG2431 black image? Dead panel?

From research I have done including Amazon flagging system the XG2431 seems to have an over 25% failure rate which is much higher than the 3% failure rate of electronic devices. Samsung monitors some odyssey series also has same issue a massive failure rate and return rate Amazon awards a badge for...

Re: Any 1440p 240hz recomendations?

It's subjective opinion, I have been using my Acer xv272ux from 2021 and work a lot on it(coding), also got level 10 faceit with this panel and I love this monitor, the best 240hz I ever had, but had a lot other before: Benq 2540, Alienware aw2518hf, LG 27GK750F, Asus vg279qm, Asus vg258qm, Acer xv...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?

The vast majority of people play E-Sport titles on max settings since turning down the settings does little to nothing whatsoever unless you turn it down so low it looks like a vomit inducing experience. It's also harder to see and make a headshot when playing 640x480, the dumb resolution of "Pros"...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?

look at any benchmark on the internet only a handful of Esport titles can maintain 240 FPS if you have a really good PC An RTX 3060 isn't maintaining 240 FPS even in E-Sport titles stop fooling yourself You need a very good PC to run most Esport titles at 240 FPS constant. An RTX 4090 CANNOT run 95...

Re: Is the ViewSonic XG2431 without strobing still king for minimum input lag, response time, ghosting and motion blur?

Thanks so much for your reply. What would you recommend for a 24-25", 1080p, 240Hz, IPS or TN? I can't help but feel that a TN monitor is not worth it in 2024. Sorry for late reply, i've send back my XG2431, a very "meh" experience to be honest. About your question to be honest, idk, it depend if y...

Re: Got Permanently Banned by "ServiceServices" mod from r/MotionClarity for posting about how good the XG2431 is

It really depends on which gen OLED you're talking about. Monitors unboxed reviewed many OLEDs lately. It really depends on the quality of the software bfi and monitor. Literally, he only bases himself on Rtings and believes that Rtings has tested everything, they are certainly not the absolute tru...
