Re: This Is How I Fixed My Input Lag
That is not true. Windows will recognize the extra L3 cache. Check your task manager. It clearly sees the extra cache. Registry keys won't change anything if set correctly. Changing it to the values of FFFFFF is just not right. That's not the size of L1, L2 and L3. Forget this tweak boys. It's not d...

Re: This Is How I Fixed My Input Lag
Why don't you set the reg values to what the cache actually is?
L1 is 512 decimal
L2 is 4096 decimal
L3 is 98304 decimal
You're just messing up the values.

Re: RIOT's CUSTOM NVIDIA PROFILE INSPECTOR
It broke my system.
Mouse cursor is flickering. And system is unresponsive. Tried rebooting, but windows won't get past loading screen.
Booted into safe mode doing DDU
Reinstalling driver.
It's fixed now.

Re: Counter-Strike 2 Timer Resolution Effect
Yeah, I know the basic idea of what the timer does.
I was wondering if someone could benchmark for latency. I don't have hardware to do it.

Re: Samsung G7 480Hz OC
What settings in the monitor and what resolution settings do you use to get this even to 300Hz?

Counter-Strike 2 Timer Resolution Effect
Hello, switched to Win11 recently, did the registry tweak to achieve system-wide timer resolution. Forced 0.5ms time resolution. Trying to see if it affects CS2, but I have no tools to measure latency. Only notice a slight drop in FPS that is marginal. Does anyone know what impact it has on this game?

That's a bald statement. Why Vulkan? Have you run any tests to back your claim?

Re: Extended understanding of system timers in Windows.
I have 5900X and for this CPU 4 dimms are better. As far as I remember, CCDs are related to that. Your 5800X 3D is 1 CCD, while my CPU has 2 CCDs. I bought 2 kits G.Skill 3200 CL14 and overclocked it to 3800 CL14 and other timings are tighter than original. I had to increase voltage to 1.52V, but I ...

Re: Extended understanding of system timers in Windows.
Thanks for clarifying it. I though workaround was implemented, but nah. Timer is dynamic in Windows 10 2H22 when I set it to 0.5ms It keeps being 15ms and drops to 0.5ms and basically lives its own life. I have no control over it. Setting it to 0.5ms still reduces sleep time by like 0.2ms for me. Bu...
