LG 32GS95UE-B 480hz 1080p - Sub 1ms (blur-free) Persistence possible with BFI
The Reviews are out and, as expected, the motion clarity of this monitor is unprecedented, unlike everything we've see so far: https://i.imgur.com/xILPF7x.jpeg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jvdng6cqlhI But sadly, there is NO BFI implementation whatsoever, and this is obviously because LG still wan...

Re: List of 240Hz OLEDs
So apparently ASUS models will feature ELMB/BFI on OLEDs... but only at 120hz on their 240hz displays.. What exactly is stopping them from using BFI at 60hz? Rolling scan wouldnt even be needed. Where did you get this info from? I've been really on the edge on getting the PG27AQDM and if it would h...

Blur Buster's 1000hz journey ending at 650hz OLEDs?
Now that we've seen what high refresh OLEDs are capable of when it comes to motion clarity, it's evident that thanks to the near-instant response times, the blur is lower compared to LCDs at the same refresh. TFTCentral states that a 360hz OLED looks like an LCD at 540hz: https://tftcentral.co.uk/re...

Re: AW3225QF vs AW3423DWF
These strobed monitors lose all their value if you cant get locked high frame rates, so you have to cope with a shitty picture in such situations. OLEDs may not have the absolute best motion clarity, mostly due to manufacturers ignoring BFI, but they're better at every other picture quality metric. ...

Re: When will Oled panels become available?
$500 OLED monitors are already available in the second hand market.
Only possible through DisplayPort 2.1 I'm guessing.Chief Blur Buster wrote: ↑01 Mar 2024, 21:351000 Hz OLEDs are also coming 2027, in this OLED refresh bullet train journey.

OLED = Backlit OLED, filtered into RGB colors+extra white subpixel. Or Blue backlit, filtered into RGB (QD-OLED).
True RGB OLED = Individual R, B and G are self-emissive OLED material, only seen on earlier Samsung models and Professional Sony Monitors.

Re: Seeking clarification on OLED / BFI...some beginner questions
I really hate how manufacturers are dropping the ball HARD with BFI on these new OLEDs. The new Ultrawide 240hz WOLED only offers 120Hz BFI, giving 120hz content the same clarity as 240hz (4.2ms pixel blur): https://tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus-rog-swift-pg34wcdm However, it could do 60hz BFI with ...

It's worth it. Imagine how clean Half-Life and Max Payne will look at 480hz in higher resolutions.

Re: LG 27” 1440P 480Hz OLED CES 2024
If you actually look at 960 and put it into context of real world games, you actually realize how 'slow' it is. Even in games like CS or Valorant we all experience fast action when you do a flick or a 90d flick to something new that pops up. I mean, just apply the Blur busters law to whatever pixel...
