Re: Viewsonic XG2431 Settings Help
100Hz or higher may get crosstalk issue. 85Hz or lower are for zero crosstalk.

Re: Black video (TV...) for encoded signal
I knew. GRRR! - because we blame shameful TV operators, DVD/BD-Video protection....
No solution!?? I respect you or ViewSonic requires hardly 50Hz added for PureXP!!! Or I will back to CRT...

Re: ViewSonic Strobe Utility tool: no custom profiles?
Create a profile's name for "Custom" of PureXP+ is REQUIRED!
Examples on your tool:
- I would create new profile as 1st of "Custom" and digit "150fps host for 50Hz guest for watch 50fps TV/videos" (use "ShaderGlass" tool (example), if any monitor can't enable hardware strobe for 50Hz):
150Hz ...

Re: ViewSonic Strobe Utility tool: no custom profiles?
I don't clarify any vertical frequencies and LVT! But yes... How do I create/save new profile on "Custom" of PureXP+??

ViewSonic Strobe Utility tool: no custom profiles?
Hello. I tested 150Hz BFI-HW for 50Hz + BFI-SW ("120-safe-BFI" shader at sub-frames 3) by ShaderGlass for watch live TV@50Hz signal or any 50fps video and I get no any burn-in issue. I adore ViewSonic XG2431!! <3
But does "ViewSonic Strobe Utility" tool not have any "Custom" (PureXP ...

Re: 4K 1000HZ+ already feasible in 2025?
Hello.
If we say "kilo(s)", we write ALWAYS "k" - this letter must be lowercase due to the law for avoid any confusion:
- learn: https://www.nist.gov/pml/owm/metric-si-prefixes and more because "K" is Kelvin (temperature). :)
If we say "hertz", "HZ" and "hz" are incorrect for highercase by "Z" and ...

Re: IMPORTANT: You must always turn on LCD Saver mode when using BFI/CRT software for LCD-IPS
Thank you. Please should pin my topic.
But ShaderGlass does not have safe "BFI-simple" yet because lacks any parameter.
I don't like CRT beam simulator to 50Hz guest because vertical lines are aliased by blur moving due to the insufficient vertical frequency of 200Hz. But min 1kHz is enough for ...

IMPORTANT: You must always turn on LCD Saver mode when using BFI/CRT software for LCD-IPS
Hello. :)
After my investigation, if your LCD TV/monitor has IPS panel, do NOT enable BFI (Black Frame Insertion) software* for avoid any burn-in issue.
Watch my video about burn-in issue (warning!: strong flickering):

Re: [ViewSonic XG2431] PureXP enabled + BFI software (SW) cause burn-in but BFI HW not
Here is a comment you might find useful: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?p=109300#p109300 I've replied this.
I used to have a XG2431 batch that can do <60Hz strobing. Although pulse width and other strobe utility settings were locked and pulse was too dim/short. It was probably a ...
