Re: strafe inaccuracy and cs2 issues with electricity
I really don't know, all I know is after the PC was left without ethernet cable for 10 minutes it felt insanely smooth after re-plugging it back and playing a game. That wasn't even the intention, I was switching cable to see if it was causing my discord issues. Well it's not 100% fixed tbh, could ...

Well desync won't render you useless but will limit your potential by a lot.cursed-gamer wrote: ↑Yesterday, 10:42I wish I could have his desync. Maybe finally I would make 3k elo.

Re: strafe inaccuracy and cs2 issues with electricity
Problem with s/ftp is, if you don't install it correctly it acts as antenna. It requires grounding to work properly and also a high quality cable. You just need a cat6 UTP 24AWG and if you can find one with pure copper. If you look at the back of almost any modern motherboard, you'll see the I/O sh...

Re: strafe inaccuracy and cs2 issues with electricity
I resolved 90% of it by switching my ethernet cables to standard UTP's instead of s/ftp. I have tried seperate pcie network card and made 0 difference. This is actually interesting, same for me! The higher the Catx Category that I test, with more shielding the worse the game becomes. I'm using Cat5...

Re: S/FTP ethernet cable and interference
Hi widow13, Does "the lag is minimal" mean desync fix or the mouse feel better? Desync fix mostly but the mouse feels more responsive from that matter too because the input lag is less. So I'd say a bit of both just more desync wise. It may not be useful to me. Generally speaking, before buying SFT...

Re: strafe inaccuracy and cs2 issues with electricity
The strafe inaccuracy is actually something I've noticed with valorant aswell. If the input lag is high the keyboard strokes do not register in time and you end up shooting without stopping first. It happens even with rapid trigger it's actually insane. Also sometimes you can notice urself "surf". ...

S/FTP ethernet cable and interference
If anyone is using s/ftp ethernet cable hoping to fix interference, you are most likely achieving the opposite. I found my cable was creating lag randomly when I was trying a different cable and left PC unplugged from ethernet for around 10-15mins. I spoke with a guy that used to install cables and ...

Always create a restore point before trying random tweaks as this could happen.dermodemon wrote: ↑19 May 2024, 09:02after cmd command winmgmt /resetrepository i can't run my apps and everything is lagging hard (win11)
