Re: 1440p 360Hz OLED vs 1080p 540Hz TN
I should receive the PG27AQDP in about 2 weeks (1440p 480Hz OLED), will let you know my feelings on how it compares to PG248QP (1080p 540Hz TN) for competitive FPS.
Oh please do, I went from 1440p 360Hz OLED to the PG248QP and was not impressed and went back to OLED lol
Hi randomly ...

Re: Input / Fps lag / polling issue / latency fix vault (valorant based)
I hope this helps somebody and I'm not going to say I hope this will be a permanent fix, I know this is fixed. If I put as much effort and hours into fixing this shit I'd be jeff bezos literally. I'll still stick around to give people pointers because this forum although it drove me into the ...

Re: Input / Fps lag / polling issue / latency fix vault (valorant based)
Monitor OC from 500hz to 540hz: L-D0 - I don't know why but using 500hz in comparison to 540 feels like bullet hit reg is so bad. Could be placebo. I also noticed using esports OD vs normal od, mouse feels way more inconsistent. I also tried disabling DSC in the settings of the monitor which ...

Re: Input / Fps lag / polling issue / latency fix vault (valorant based)
I agree on the on vs on+boost argument. I also found this too, except whoever I mentioned it to thought I was utterly crazy and there is 'no difference'. I found that aiming with on is more consistent also, however with on+boost I'm more likely to overshoot. On+boost seems to work better for ...

Hi there, thanks for sharing your datapoint.
I agree with most of what you said and two things really caught my eye:
- We need more information on how reliable 2.4GHz wireless mice are in a noisy environment. Has anyone done tests?
On a side note, I have a strong suspicion that both my Viper v2 ...

Re: 90% finished input lag in CS2/Valorant - a datapoint
I secretly feel like fps_max 1000 means every millisecond check if previous frame has finished. If it did, delay next frame till next check.
So yes, I do think fps_max 0 is superior for me. That being said, my constraints (bottlenecks on the systems performance) may not be the same as yours so I ...

Re: 90% finished input lag in CS2/Valorant - a datapoint
Hi samzor,
Apologies for the confusion - for the settings I'm running, I find any fps_max values other than zero adds minute stutters to my shots. Almost as if the mouse skips a beat in a gunfight. Doesn't really happen when people aren't shooting at you.
Now this might have been changed/patched ...

Re: 90% finished input lag in CS2/Valorant - a datapoint
Now that said, the raising of "placebo" is also a point of contention -- one person' placebo may not be another persons' placebo, since there literally infinite number of causes of lag of varying types. Lag is also not a single number (since displays don't refresh all pixels simultaneously ...
