Ended up sorting this out finally after resolving that it was not only a network issue but a System Timer/HPET/etc. problem

If the game itself does not already use independent flip, Windows 11 will try to force it. More info on the flip models:

This only applies to DX11 games. DX12 games will always use independent flip so no conversion is required.

Capping frames in Valorant is such a pain in the ass.. using nv limiter it causes huge frametime Spikes. Using ingame cap makes my mouse feel sluggish.. uncapped can be 600-900 depending on the map - which makes it super inconsistent from a dsync pov

Same issue this game has forever been problematic for me and literally this game alone lol. Feels like I have to change my settings every hour just to play the game. Sometimes smooth then suddenly its shit, then mouse feels heavy sometimes its not, sometimes it feels like I have angle snapping on ...

What i still cant understand is why ticking *No scaling* while playing 1080p Valorant on a 1080p display no matter the scaling method - stills feels weird. This is no placebo. Its so obvious that ppl can just recreate and test it on the fly..

I dont know about this RAM Timings stuff. Someone who really understand it and is actually good at the game / or has a actual valid way to confirm it should take a look. I would try it but the information about DDR5 6000 is conflicting.

Are you going by pure feel or watch latencymon while idle ? I wonder what benchmark i should use to create a baseline before playing around with affinitys

Post the actual tweaks so other ppl can test and confirm/deny it. +your specs.

1) can you elaborate on that core affinity stuff ? Isnt that null when using MSI mode ? And If not, what are you actually doing ? GoAffinity then select pcie link or the actual device - link GPU to 1 core, ethernet to 1 core etc..

2) whats your opinion on Ethernet Adapter settings ? Changing ...
