Re: Software BFI options?
Anybody tried software BFI on Oled monitors? I have Alienware AW3423DWF with 164.900Hz. I don't like how BFI flickers at 60Hz on my LG C2, but at 82.450Hz it could be acceptable, and it's easier to hold steady 82.45fps. I already gave up with VRR, because I couldn't stand flickering. What options do...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
It doesn't matter, but usually you want something only very slightly above 60 (like 60.01.) In this case, you don't need RTSS for the cap because you can just use the nvidia driver limiter with a cap of 60. I was thinking that lower will be better for games that have in-game 60fps cap that can't be...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
https://i.postimg.cc/FFz899w3/Bez-tytu-u.png QFT for 60Hz and 120Hz. My VRR range is 48-165. I already tried 65,70, etc for low range, but didn't help much. This is 34" ultrawide QD-Oled freesync, and flickering is unavoidable on OLEDs. I have the same flickering on LG 42" C2 as well. I play a lot ...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
I'm going to experiment with QFT. What is the best value to set in CRU 60.000, 59.950 or 59.920?

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
Thanks for quick answers. Is RTSS much better than Nvidia driver cap, or it's the same, but more precise?

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
I tried FPS cap with RTSS and Nvidia driver, but this alone didn't change much at @120Hz. Game runs perfect with in-game cap and vsync @60hz, but @120Hz judders, however with 1/2 Nvidia vsync it's perfect again. Now the question which set-up has higher input lag: 1. In-game vsync, 60Hz 2. 1/2 Nvidia...

Re: Nvidia Adaptive 1/2 Refresh V-sync + FPS cap
Anybody know if 1/2 vsync at 120Hz for 60fps locked games has maybe higher input lag than the regular vsync? I'm testing Tekken 8 on my AW3423DWF OLED monitor and with gsync enabled flickering is very annoying. At 165Hz Gsync off obviously I get judder or tearing if vsync if off. At 120Hz in-game vs...

Re: 40fps at 40Hz vs 40fps at 120Hz small argument with Plasma TV for Gaming
Of course we were talking only about sample and hold displays like LG OLED (he has C1), or LCDs. Bfi or strobing disabled.
