Sorry I missed this reply. I will try the lower resolution rather than the 3840 when I am back to troubleshooting this. I solved the flashing issue by moving the HDMI from HDMI3 to HDMI1. So I was lucky enough to get a warranty swap out from AOC due to clouding on the monitor, and happy days, the new monitor is great, no clouding and NO DEAD PIXELS!!!

Shame it took 3 attempts to get a decent monitor though.

I got an RMA on this monitor for a different issue, so I will be VERY interested to see if there are any dead pixels on my replacement monitor. This will be my 3rd new monitor ......

AOC have a swap out warranty, which is very cool, so I'm getting a replacement tomorrow. If it is the same, I'll get a refund from the retailer.

A few months later, still the same clouding issue on the OPs monitor aoc g2460pg, I got one this month and have an RMA number for the clouding.

Wow that is a BUSY forum! I can't locate the thread you mean, maybe the discussion is part of a larger thread about a monitor in general, you can;t recall which thread it was by any chance?

I got an RMA number from Euro support, had to send them my purchase invoice, just waiting on confirmation that they'll swap it out.
