I don't know if this post is still alive, I have a VG259QM, since I found it at a very good price and in RTINGS I saw that it was a good 1080p fast ips monitor, I have the monitor configured at 280hz and 120 OD, I have seen that some of you use ctru or whatever program to create a custom resolution ...

I still cannot get it to 280hz, on 240hz works fine. This is a link to all my settings: . I did AMD pixel patcher aswell and LCD reduced/Exact Reduced. Any solutions? :(


My question is, why do you use CTRU and not configure the OD and OC from the OSD of the monitor itself to achieve 280hz and ...

I use 280hz at OD 120, with adaptive sync disabled. When I play Fortnite and my FPS drops a bit, the game gives me mini jerks, is it something in the monitor settings, should I change something? Or could it be a game thing or something else? I have a 5800x3d and a 3070 OC

There is no way to use the monitor at 280hz in 10 bits then, right?

I think that the best configuration for the overdrive is not 80 but 120, which is a hidden configuration of the monitor, it is the one with the least input lag, you can check it in rtings
