Re: Is it ok if my monitor's fps counter is exceeding my ingame fps counter?
Noticed the same issue in Warzone. I realized some spiking over is fine but I did notice hitting 144Hz (monitor v-sync cap) quite a bit. The in-game fps monitor never showed above 139 but my monitor kept saying it was going to 144Hz every second or so. I did some troubleshooting and realized it was ...

Re: Help with Benq XL2420G
I have the same issue in g-sync mode. However it doesn't completely reset for me.
If I set the contrast at 50 and the brightness at 20 and turn off my computer, the next day it will be something like 51 contrast and 49 brightness. Each day it's different...

Re: flood's input lag measurements
I see that you were planning on testing the Nvidia scaling vs display scaling input lag and am curious if you have an idea to when you will test this? It effects everyone that uses an Nvidia G-Sync monitor because it forces us to use Nvidia scaling.

Re: BenQ XL2420G Input Lag Measurements
i see, but the 7ms difference means that the scanout speed is that of the normal 144hz mode which makes sense if gsync is running... this is weird I agree and that is why I created this thread. I have no other way to measure input lag, so I was curious if other methodologies showed different result...

Re: BenQ XL2420G Input Lag Measurements
wait a second are you saying you got gsync working on a source that isn't an nvidia card? on my gsync-modded vg248qe, only nvidia cards would allow gsync mode on the monitor The lag tester connects directly to the screen and doesn't go through the video card at all. It's going through the g-sync di...

Re: BenQ XL2420G Input Lag Measurements
gsync scans out as fast as 144hz which means the difference between top and bottom is ~7ms it's probably the adapter though Hmm... Well the Leo Bodnar lag tester outputs at 1080p and 60hz, so that would be very odd.. unless the adapter is changing the signal from 60 to 144hz. The numbers do seem to...

BenQ XL2420G Input Lag Measurements
So I finally decided to stop being lazy and test my new BenQ XL2420G's input lag. I conducted this test in classic mode, classic blur reduction, and g-sync mode. Please keep in mind that these results are input lag and response time, so the results will be higher than other testing methods. The resu...

Re: BenQ XL2420G - Settings, Blur reduction etc.
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try out all the different modes this monitor offers, including G-Sync and ULMB. I've only had it for 2 days so I only managed to test Clasic mode + Benq's Blur Reduction + BlurBuster's Strobe Utility with CS. I like that it's much brighter than ULMB, even if it ha...

Re: BenQ XL2420G - Settings, Blur reduction etc.
Hello, I got a new BenQ XL2420G today. I already read a lot about it before getting it, but I'm still feeling overwhelmed as this is my first good monitor. What I've done so far is install drivers, set everything to 144Hz, install Blur Busters Strobe Utility for BENQ Blur Reduction and played aroun...

Re: AOC G2460PG ULMB artifacts
Just picked up the BenQ XL2420G and was going to use it primarily in ULMB mode. However these lines are driving me crazy. Is this normal for ULMB or should I request a replacement? I uploaded a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJEH0zbuW8c I've just watched your video in 1080p and noticed...
