DLSS & Gray Zone Warfare Optimization
Hi all - Gray Zone Warfare (GZW) seems to be very demanding on my hardware.. and from virtually all setting combos I've tried, I can't seem to get a crisp picture. DLSS and FrameGen seem to provide the overall best balance between frame time, framerate, and quality. I'm currently getting ~144 FPS, 7...

Re: TIP: Always put high-Hz keyboard and high-Hz mouse on SEPARATE DEDICATED USB CHIPS.
Houston, we have a problem. Especially with 4000 Hz keyboards and 8000 Hz mice being used simultaneously. I just helped someone solve a high-Hz USB performance interference problem between two high-Hz USB devices: Problem: High-Hz poll performance interference between 1000 Hz keyboard + 1000 Hz mou...

Re: New Display came with Lags - Please Help
Your 2080Ti is still a strong card. I've had it up until January of last year, yet I can assure you it will start struggling with a 4K 42" display :( ! I'm guessing your new monitor is giving that poor GPU a run for its life. You beat me to it. It's impressive that this GPU can be pushed so hard! @...

Re: 8khz devices and usb ports (rear IO)
The answer is - both are important: 1) Directness (reducing chipset jumps) keeps latency low. 2) Minimizing use of one lane allows proper bandwidth throughput for high-polling peripherals. aaaand... 3) Mouse should be priority. What most people do is prioritize the mouse by putting it on the USB po...

Re: 8khz devices and usb ports (rear IO)
Using ports connected directly to the CPU (rather than chipsets) will generally reduce latency. The topic of that post was suggesting that, while using high polling peripherals (i.e. 8khz mouse w/ 4khz keyboard), the ports used should not be on the same lane/hub. Generally, ports that are adjacent i...

Re: TIP: Always put high-Hz keyboard and high-Hz mouse on SEPARATE DEDICATED USB CHIPS.
Interesting... According to MSI, my MB (PRO Z790-P) only offers Chipset USB ports, and recommends using (ports adjacent to one another for M/KB. I read Blur Buster Chief's alternatives comment earlier, but I'm unsure what options I have with my given specs. Am I best off adding USB ports via PCIe ex...

Re: (Introduction/)Best Monitor for 1440p Warzone Build?
I would say go for the PG27AQDM. However, this is around $1300 USD, so the next best thing for probably be the PG27AQN https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-pg27aqn-27-led-qhd-monitor-black/6544780.p?skuId=6544780 which is currently $918 on sale. However, if this is also too expensive especially since ...

Re: Should I be worried about DSC for esports?
I just ordered an Alienware AW2725DF, 1440p 360hz monitor for primarily esports. I'm reading up on DSC, and realizing DP 1.4 will require it to support the bandwidth. Does anybody know how much latency this will add to the monitor? Kinda mad this doesn't support DP2.1 It supports HDMI 2.1, but even...

Re: (Introduction/)Best Monitor for 1440p Warzone Build?
I just came upon the 27GR95QE-B. Discussions on the LG Ultragear 27" OLED, which were formerly highly anticipated, have become rather out of date. Tell me where I can get this monitor. Costco online has it in-stock. May not be the absolute best price, but costco has a great return policy, plus $100...
