I used pcpartpicker to find monitors with the parameters given: 2560x1440, <26'', and did not find anything remotely as good as XG2431.
I only found 24'' 1440p 165hz, 26.5'' 240hz OLED is the smallest that would be decent.

both displays have review on rtings, and their response time @ max refresh is basically the same, so i dont think +$130 would be worth if thats the primary concern.
posting your region might help others help you find a monitor because pricing and availability is not the same everywhere

I think your XG2431 is not KSF phosphor backlight? Many 27'' IPS is. There is the ~144hz+ QD options, over here in AUS not much more expensive vs KSF. I don't remember any 240hz QD option.
