Re: Freesync Stuttering With Borderless Windowed Mode
I've been having some issues recently with stuttering specifcally with borderless windowed games. The problems only occur when freesync is enabled, if I have it disabled via the driver control panel the stuttering goes away, the interesting thing about this is that all these games are 60fps locked ...

Re: Screen tearing with FreeSync and FPS Limits on my 165Hz Monitor
The problem arises when there's an FPS cap, such as 60 FPS. In these cases, the monitor's refresh rate becomes erratic, jumping between 50Hz and 70Hz instead of staying locked at 60Hz. This causes severe tearing in games, which doesn't happen on my older 60Hz monitor.

Re: Struggling to pick the correct settings
Let's not overcomplicating stuff and keep it simple.
For an optimal Gsync + Vsync operation, you need to keep your FPS from reaching the max Hz.
Reflex and Boost is designed as automatic, intergrated toggle which take care of that for you. If your games support it set it and forget.
If there ...

Consistent tear-line at the bottom with Vsync OFF + VRR + below max Hz Cap
Disclaimer: I'm not trying to troubleshoot, the problem being disscussed purely for better understanding.
I have noticed in a few games which full-screen mode force a 60Hz refresh rate. VRR still working as it should with a cap of 57 FPS, but a constant, stable tear-line is rendered with Vsync OFF ...

Re: Optimal Freesync Settings?
I see myself as very sensitive to frametime variances, tearing and input lag (maybe because my generation was grown up up with less signal processing ;) ) Settings below is my set and forget. I've read a lot online over the years, tried many settings but always revert to this.
1. Freesync ...

Re: Desk Setup Thread! [POST YOUR PICS]
Got a niche SFF MATX case for my very budgeted set-up. I play almost everything on this system from competitive, single-player and emulator.
The monitor I got was very affordable for what it delivered. It's an China OEM fast IPS panel with 24inch,180Hz, AdaptiveSync and HDR. The price is roughly ...

Re: Does this monitor support Low framerate compensation ?
I have an AMD Radeon RX580 and a Samsung Freesync monitor(LS27F350FHNXZA) that has an HDMI 1.4 input.
What is the VRR range for this monitor ? the monitor is 75hz...I can only find one source that says the VRR range is 48-72.
What happens if the frame rate drops to lower than 48 ? does this ...

Re: Vsync isnt working in any games
V-sync not working just sounds really bizarre. Unless extra configuration from your side, V-sync should work as long as the application has proper implementation, which the vast majority of relatively modern applications does. In case in-app V-sync is broken, the control panel V-sync option can ...
