Can't create custom resolutions after going from 6900xt to 5070ti (LG 27GX790A-B)
Creating resolutions in SRE, which is what I had used previously, simply doesn't show the resolution anywhere, not in the nvidia control panel, or in my windows display settings. Tried rebooting, tried restart64.exe packaged with CRU, still doesn't work. When I try to create a resolution in the ...

PresentMon shows composed flip with valorant no matter what I do
Basically title, brand new built pc. No matter what I do, i've enabled FSO, MPO, valorant running in fullscreen still shows its running in hardware composed flip, NOT hardware independant flip.
I know this is bad for input delay and the game feels stuttery and shit. What else Can I try, someone ...

Is it possible to create custom resolutions with DSC?
I can get the new LG 27GX790A-B (480hz 27' 1440p oled) for $1150 AUD ($720 USD), however, I will want to use the 24 inch mode. But for whatever reason, LG has decided to NOT go the asus route and add a pixel perfect resolution and just downscale native 1440p which apparently is blurry, so ideally i ...

Re: Possible to calculate *displayed* pixels on 24 inch mode 27 inch monitor
In theory, the native 1:1 calculated via a 24:27 ratio would be 2276 x 1280. This is simply from pure mathematics, and rounding up to nearest numbers. The actual 24:27 scaled numbers for 2560x1440 would be 2275.55555(...) x 1280.00000.
However, I don't know how the scaling works on this display ...

Re: Possible to calculate *displayed* pixels on 24 inch mode 27 inch monitor
Unfortunately the monitor uses DSC, which means no custom resolutions :D, plus (with hopium that in the future custom resolutions are possible) I would like the option to play on stretched resolution for certain games at ~24 inches which I believe would only be possible by utilising the 24 inch mode ...

Possible to calculate *displayed* pixels on 24 inch mode 27 inch monitor
Bit of a weird question, but the LG 27GX790A-B is available for 500 AUD less than the 480hz ASUS monitor. However I can find barely any fkn info on this monitor, namely the 24 inch mode listed in the manual, NOWHERE and I mean nowhere is the actual displayed / scaled resolution posted.

Re: Scaling down 27 inch display to 24.5 inches (PG27AQDP specific question too)
I've been able to do this will no scaling so it works fine without custom resolutions then in game, however, I am trying to use CRU, in order to just TREAT my monitors default resolution to be 2272x1278 or 2288x1288 (apparently divisible by 8 is the best? don't understand the specifics, but the ...

Understanding FSO, FSE and flip presentation re. valorant
Hi there, been trying to do some research about a few settings in windows 11, mostly with regards to valorant to eek out the best latency and performance.
I know there is recently a windows 11 setting that you can enable, which when games are run in windowed, or borderless windowed (Or FSO if im ...

Scaling down 27 inch display to 24.5 inches (PG27AQDP specific question too)
This is a very specific (And probably strange question), but I'm unsure if it is possible. Lets say I have a 27 inch 1440p monitor for example. And I want to scale the image to ~24 inches, it's not too difficult to setup, i've done it on my own monitor, simple just running the scaling mode to ...
