Is Acer Nitro XV272UF3 good ?
Somehow it’s painfully cheap for 1440p 300hz. Are all Acer monitors like this ?

Re: Are there any ideas on how we will power high-Hz panels in the future ?
I'd like to mention that frame rate is not an issue if you're not gaming. Desktop pushes pretty much any frame rate u need even on old gpus/cpus. I don't game anymore and would still buy 1000+Hz just for desktop, browsing and work. This is the problem that 70/30% of my time is games/browser+youtube.

Re: Are there any ideas on how we will power high-Hz panels in the future ?
All these panels are 240,360,480, and soon 1000+ hertz. What good are they in most video games if we somehow run ~100 fps on top-end hardware (not to mention indie projects, old games and competitive games) !? You still get a latency benefit, regardless of frames outputted by the GPU. The answer is...

Re: Is it normal to see pixel motion ?
ULMB is low persistence mode. Low persistence allows u to see more detail during eye-tracking, especially if very close to the screen. That includes the screen door effect of low ppi. If u're noticing the pixel grid u're most likely reaching theoretical sub 1 pixel of motion blur levels, e.i. sub 1...

Is it normal to see pixel motion ?
I noticed in a PC electronics store that if you turn on ulmb or similar technology, then with a fairly short frame visibility time you can see how objects move not blurry, but as if through a mosquito net. Is it because I see pixels or is it an effect of low frame visibility time ?

Where are OLED monitors with ulmb implementation ?
As a matter of fact, I know that there is a black frame insert, but I have never seen other variations of strobing on OLED panels. Where are ulmb, mprt, pure xp, elmb, dyac and others ? And I’m also wondering if it’s possible to adjust the frame visibility width on them like in ulmb.

help me choose one of these 3 monitors
I want to buy a 1440p 240hz monitor. And here are the main criteria for me: pixel response time, BFI implementation, colors, input latency, and ease of use. And according to the current criteria, I found 3 copies. HP OMEN 27qs ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A IIyama GB2790QSU-B5 Which one would you advise...

Who has an HP OMEN 27qs, can you share your ownership experience?
I looked at the review on rtings to see how it handles motion processing. I liked how it works in sample and hold mode. But I saw that he has bfi. It says that it works at 120, 144 and 240Hz. But I still haven’t found out anywhere what its mprt indicator is in bfi mode and is it normal for a red tra...
