Re: Do all TN G-sync monitors have banding issues? Help me p
I don't think banding is the fault of the monitor manufacturer necessarily. Correct. Banding is greatly influenced by a lot of the weakest links. Many factors can reduce the precision of the colors (whether monitor, firmware drivers, GPU, game, source art, etc). All that 10-bit or 12-bit beauty can...

To reduce latency when v-sync is enabled, not screen tearing.Frs4ken wrote:Ppl say cap to 1 fps below refresh rate to reduce tearing. This is what i get https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQeBVfgzIZE

Re: NO way this is normal screent tearing.
If you want to get a similar behavior as borderless in W7/W8 or pre-update W10, then you need to play in fullscreen (if possible) and enable Fastsync (nvidia) or Enhanced Sync (AMD). You can also open system settings, and in the game section disable "Show Game bar when I play full screen games Micr...

Re: NO way this is normal screent tearing.
What further confuses me is that there are people that say they never notice screen tearing (with vsync off ofcourse). I don't understand this because the screen tearing and stutter i'm having in the 75-90 FPS range on a 60Hz monitor makes games almost unplayable. The 2 videos that i uploaded are a...

Re: I need a wireless mouse recommendation for 60hz
Logitech just announced the G603, which looks pretty promising (insanely long battery life): http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g603-lightspeed-wireless-gaming-mouse https://www.pcgamesn.com/logitech/logitech-hero-technology Not sure how that is meant to replace the G602. The G602 has possibl...

Great post, and I agree that it's probably the best option we have for low-persistence in the future. The only issue is that, as I understand it, these techniques work for camera tracking, but your game is still animating at whatever framerate it is natively running at. Unfortunately, that can look ...

Re: Upgraded to a "flawless sensor" mouse and I love it
The ASUS ROG Gladius sends two reports every 1ms rather than one report every 0.5ms like a true 2000Hz mouse would, so it's basically "fake" 2000Hz support. Don't buy one. I wish these sensor lists were better. There are lots of mice considered to have "flawless" sensors which are not. I had a Rocca...

Pretty sure it is response time.
If I recall correctly, changing the overdrive setting on my monitor affected this.

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion
Emulators might achieve less average input lag than the original 8-bit machines Now if only I could get most emulators to actually work properly with G-Sync. Most that I have tried so far end up skipping quite badly, similar to the DirectDraw problems I mentioned here . Perhaps we should have a sep...

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion
On a 144Hz screen what is the best setting to adopt for gsync and dishnored 2 game? This is the only game where I really have bad results ... My settings : Nvidia panel : Vsync on + gsync on. Gsync full screen only. In game : Vsync off. Frame rate limiter 90. Full screen on. Triple buffer off. Than...
