This seems very interesting. I got three noobish questions though: Is 3d active possible with this (will I loose my 3d active capabilities)? If yes: can I send frame packed 3d material at 1080p50 (HDMI 1.4 limitations really suck if you use SVP)? Is the display port version freesync capable? Thanks ...

Fringy question: Do you think we can expect freesync tvs? I just need a much bigger pixel and screen size then what's on the monitor marked
