If you want to be able to use Directstorage don't install manufacturers NVME driver.
DirectStorage requires an NVMe SSD to store and run games that use the Standard NVM Express Controller driver and a DirectX12 GPU with Shader Model 6.0 support.

I see myself as very sensitive to frametime variances, tearing and input lag (maybe because my generation was grown up up with less signal processing ;) ) Settings below is my set and forget. I've read a lot online over the years, tried many settings but always revert to this.

Maybe this is the cause and High DPI scaling override is the solution? A mismatch between input and output scaling.
