Re: Can we use Radeon Chill to cap frames above 300?
Thanks for the reply, it was interesting to look into dxnavi. I will look into testing it for the future.
I don't have any more info on flm, but the info displayed should be system latency. Not superconfident on its reliability, but when I was collecting data along frameview and presentmon the ...

Re: Can we use Radeon Chill to cap frames above 300?
Hey some good news.
Version 7.3.7 of rtss has a built-in CS2 profile. If you use that profile (copy from C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\ProfilesTemplates to C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\Profiles), RTSS will no longer cause framespikes with Custom Direct 3d ...

Re: Can we use Radeon Chill to cap frames above 300?
I'm interested in why in particular you've chosen that AMD tool?
I've never came across it thus far, so I'm not aware of it's potency & how it stacks up compared to ETW-based solutions such as Nvidia's FrameView, PresentMon etc.
Easier to use as it registers the captured numbers quickly and I ...

Re: Can we use Radeon Chill to cap frames above 300?
For amd GPUs, RTSS async works excelent as an alternative, however it is disabled by Faceit Anticheat if you tick on Custorm3d Support. And without that ticked on, it causes 15ms framespikes at every 5s or so.
After testing both FRTC and Chill, the second provides excellent framepacing at a ...

Can we use Radeon Chill to cap frames above 300?
Radeon chill would be the perfect fps limiter for my needs, except it is restricted to a max value of 300 fps. I would like to use a higher fps limit for a freesync+vsync setup at a 360hz monitor. Anyone knows a any way to set up chill so it accepts higher values? This limit has has been this way ...

Re: Cs2 weird frame pacing ?
Setting fps_max 0 and capping fps at driver level will drastically improve framepacing. Very noticeable during DM and you can verify with capframex using a benchmark as well.
Funny enough, if you are using the in-game limiter or running uncapped, the framepacing actually improves when you are at ...

frametime graph.png
I was running into the same issue yesterday (I hadn't played CS2 recently so this might have been a problem for a while) and I can confirm RTSS was the issue for me. I got this frame time graph by just opening aim_botz and strafing left and right.
I then noticed I didn't ...

Re: How these settings are the lowest input latency for CS2?
This is just my experience, a few weeks ago i had 13900kf, 4080, 64 GB of ram and i tested out Vsync fast, and Gsync on -Noreflex in LO and game was working fantastic, week ago i switched to 9800x3d, and i try using the same setting, i didn't notice any smoothness in the game until i tuned off ...
