I looks like Nvidia always uses DSC unless the display doesn't support it (if the display has an option to disable DSC, then that counts as "not supported" from the GPU's point of view.)

I just got this monitor and I have a 5080. I think it is a big deal that we can't disable DSC on the monitor because I have no idea if it is on or not.
