So this is it, huh? 144hz IPS with blur reduction?
No freesync/gsync I take it?
Hmm. This is the perfect CSGO Monitor.

Re: Acer announces 144hz IPS 1440p G-SYNC! [XB270HU, XG270HU
I'm still waiting for the perfect monitor. The OLED 4k true 240hz With GSync and ULMB built in. With that said, I'm actually waiting for a decent 144hz 1440p screen. Right now, we just have the Swift, and it's not so good. I like the idea of the 1440p 144hz IPS, but it would be a downgrade in terms ...

Re: CS:GO -- Does 2 milliseconds matter?
So, that's 142ms from thge start of the swipe to the shot?
Interesting. You have to remember, there are people playing against me with more ping than that. 142ms is pretty fast.

Re: CS:GO -- Does 2 milliseconds matter?
I've been deep into CSGO for the last month or two, and let me tell you... Milliseconds are everything. I really need a 1000fps camera so I can look at the kind of things I want to. The AWP lets you quickscope, where you right click, and then left click faster than the scope can appear on your scree...

Re: Crossfire on = input lag?
I've found EVERY game to be more responsive with a single card.
I had SLI 670's and I technically downgraded to a 780Ti to avoid SLI issues and weird lag.

Input lag?
The 120hz monitor will have MUCH less input lag than the IPS. IPS displays are pretty, but slow.

That's all because of engine stuttering. Fallout is the same. A total stuttery mess (granted, it's modded to hell).
You can only win so much. Because of tearing and low hz monitors being the standard, devs can get away with engine stuttering.

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
Unfortunately, flickering appears to be a not uncommon problem with G-Sync based on what I have read on other forums like ASUS ROG and the GeForce boards. Not sure what the solution could be other than complaining to NV. I've only heard of it happening during loading screens and when people aren't ...

Re: Downsampling with VG248QE gsync
I've been using the hell out of DSR. At least when the game scales alright. CSGO mostly. My 780Ti can run 140fps with GSync and 4K resolution on top of 8x AA.
Looks beautiful.

To be fair, he promised it LATE august 2014. I expected it September. It's now november, and it's killing me.
