Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

I'm done with my tests on 8k Viper. Any of polling rate above 1000hz leads to inconsistent aim in CS GO, but at the first look it works fine, so to my opinion technology it's too raw and 1000hz still the best(just work stable). CS:GO doesn't work well as Valorant. Try retesting your tests with newe...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

So as monitor refresh technology progress past 360 Hz, would you lean closer to the 4x, or higher to the 6x, or just recommend an ever increasing mouse polling ratio to 10x? Personally, I'd keep it constant. If you're using 6x, then when upgrading 360Hz to 720Hz monitors, when come out someday, the...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

What's the minimum ratio that you recommend for Mouse Polling : Display Refresh Rate? About 4x-6x. That's why I recommend 2000Hz poll for 360Hz monitors. Some can feel issues even when the ratio is 10x+, telling a minor difference between 4000Hz poll and 8000Hz poll, but there's very fast diminishi...

Re: [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS] ViewSonic unveils monitors for 2021 (The new 240Hz 24" king?)

-Do we know if this monitor support 4K 60HZ signals on consoles like it does the Benq EX2510? Custom test upon request: 4K works The 4K 60 Hz is not in the EDID but I used ToasyX to force industry standard 4K 60Hz (HT4400, VT2250) to the XG2431 and..... it works! NVIDIA Control Panel will refuse to...

Re: weird input lag just on some resolutions

It is quite possible the scaler is laggy. Fortunately, you usually have two scalers. Try both. - Try testing GPU scaler instead of monitor scaler. (New GPUs are now faster than the slowest monitor scalers, but not always) - Try testing monitor scaler instead of GPU scaler. (If NVIDIA is giving you p...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Just tested it last night again. This is on BOTH my XL2720Z and XL2746S. Mouse: Logitech G903, 1000hz. 100hz: glass smooth turning 120hz: not glass smooth: almost like there is some sort of strange frame sync issue of some sort (not tearing, almost like a strange hitching as if something were sligh...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Still, playing on high dpi is smth new to me. Feels odd and not consistant. This will vary from game to game. There are high DPI quirks in many engines (engine fault, not mouse fault). So high DPI will likely feel different in CS:GO than in Valorant. I think CS:GO has an inconsistency problem at ul...
