✅ [Chief Blur Buster - ACCURATE] The human eye can see 39,620 Hz ✅
Posts on BlueSky and X.com
Retina refresh rate is extremely high! 5-digit Hz.
Kudos to techless for fantastic video (39,620 Hz, though estimated ~20,000 Hz a few years ago).
There are 4 main visibility thresholds. Expand this tweet/post to dive into rabbit hole for a moment 🕳️🐇ִֶָ

Re: 1000Hz Dual Mode Leaked
Multiple manufacturers have indicated they want 2000 Hz.
My prediction is ETA 2030.
Hopefully it's OLED, obviously.
BTW, new techless video is a great primer of the 5-figure ballpark of retina refresh rate, agreeing with my estimates.

Re: DC Dimming High-End OLEDs?
However, is it possible that in the future technologies like EL-QD or MicroLED will make this problem disappear?
Not necessarily.
Also, for those who have not bought OLED, it's not always accurate to assume PWM is the culprit . For people who never vetted OLED, it may even be a 50-50 improve ...

and proper room lighting - using benq light bar.
Have you confirmed whether your BenQ light bar is PWM-free? Many RGB lights are PWM, and create eyestrain instead of the monitor.
Make sure you vary your room lighting, just to be safe.
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQWP-W- overkill i think :)

Re: Animation Timing Deviation test constant stutters [Fixed after moving computer]
With this test, I also get interruptions of 8.0 to 10.0 milliseconds only when I move the wired mouse (4 different models tried). If I only use the keyboard, it doesn't happen, but I don't understand the cause. Were you able to test the PC again in the initial position to see if the spikes occurred ...

This number is definitely in the correct "order-of-magnitude" ballpark.
The Four Thresholds
The TL;DR is there's 4 thresholds to worry about;
Not exact numbers, but approx orders of magnitude:
10 - slideshows turns into motion;
100 - flicker ceases to be visible (Talbot Plateau Theorem)

Re: LG B7 and Desktop BFI
hi chief
can i ask if lg motion pro high bfi can reduce 24p low frame hold time stuttering?
if output 120hz from nvidia shield for 24fps content,does 120hz motion high bfi have double image?because render 24p with 120hz output
if i set the uhd player at 24hz for 24fps content,output to lg oled ...
