Re: 1000Hz Dual Mode Leaked
New leak lists AOC 27" QHD 500Hz/FHD 1000Hz dual-mode monitor for 2026. FHD is a possible typo, so it's most likely HD 720p.
Keep in mind 720 Hz OLED outperforms 1000 Hz LCD by a significant amount in the motion blur tests, even at 1920 pixels/sec.
I now recommend 1920 pixels/sec going forward ...

Re: 240hz looks better than 360hz???
There are multiple reasons.
1. Framepacing. 240fps @ 240Hz will generally look clearer than 321fps @ 360Hz. The "framerate = Hz" improves motion clarity since fast jitters adds extra motion blur. Jittering worsens motion clarity.
2. Overdrive may be better at 240Hz than at 360Hz. LCD GtG can be a ...

Re: New motion blur reduction ReShade shader - CRT Dusha
Chief, on the topic of LCD Saver, might it cause desync issues on the RT4K in framelock mode? Mine kept resyncing on my XG270, so I swapped to genlock and it's been fine. LCD Saver on 1 min, PureXP Ultra.
Shader looks great, Fluffy! I might never use it myself but appreciate your effort.

Re: Interesting video about the audio latency of PC gaming on Windows
Some audios necessarily have to be sync'd to network (e.g. kill sounds) but mouselookin theory can rotate the sound in realtime without breaking netcode (etc).
Good audio processing in game engines could have done that. Games should be architectured for lagless mouselook-rotated sound synchronized ...

Phase Jumps/Phase Flip/Frame Drop, will. Will add as an option for convenience.

Re: The issue of Pursuit Camera With Motion Tests
After I set up the test slider, all screens are tested with a shutter speed of 1/15s, right? This should be the fairest?
TestUFO 3.0 now supports configurable tick marks of 3, 4, 6 or 8. 3 is tickmarks means you can use 1/20sec shutter for 60Hz, while 8 tickmarks means you can keep a slower 1 ...

Re: New motion blur reduction ReShade shader - CRT Dusha
Hi! Thanks! ReShade HLSL->WebGL2 cross compile sounds cool! Shader was a side project (took a few weeks of my main projects). Spent a week testing different LCD saver strategies, couldn't find a perfect solution and got tired :) But you are totally right, shader should probably have something ...

Re: New motion blur reduction ReShade shader - CRT Dusha
Hi everyone. I was looking for a good motion blur reduction ReShade shader, but couldn't find any good ones, so I have decided to make my own. It is simple to use, should work on different hardware and in different games, including old dx9 titles. Some basic presets are included, as well as many ...
