Hey, thanks for the replies. Only one DVI port on the GPU unfortunately. I have borrowed a different monitor which has an EDID advertising 2560x1440 @ 120hz xrandr still only detects 2560x1440 @ 60hz I think I will temporarily boot windows to see if this is purely a driver issue. Yes, after much research I have decided to go with the 980Ti, and just water cool it with a 3rd party full cover block. One would think that third parties will make AMD cards and one would feature a DVI port. DVI is archaic and can't handle 4K or super high refresh rates anyway, so that's probably why AMD decided to drop it on the Fury. These new cards are meant for high resolution gaming or at least 1440p / 144hz. ...
