Re: Trying to get consistent frametimes but Afterburner does not report averages correctly
I will look into that as I have fiddled with Afterburner for too long. I wouildn't thinka whole lot of influential people are reporting incorrect benchmarks with Afterburner. Must be me or an incompatibility issue.

Trying to get consistent frametimes but Afterburner does not report averages correctly
I have spent so much time on this but, Afterburner only reports the very last sample of a benchmark session for avg framerate/.1%/.01% instead of averaging. So it's not averaging. The monitor graph verifies this. Of course these number mean nothing for me just trying to get good frametimes. I've don...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Hope it keeps. No trace of flicker on mine and I hope not to see it (using included display port/power cables). Not overclocked. 360 vs 390 is the same for all practical purposes to me. can someone with viper 8k find out for me if the polling rate gets saved in memory Late replay but yes, mine saves...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
it's VRB Extreme that squeeze clarity out of strobing Just tried that (extreme VBR + extreme overdrive) and yes its pretty crisp. Stationary and moving objects look similar like in the CRT days (hey it only took ~ 20 yrs to get back most of what we lost, and btw, am I wrong in thinking Blur Busters...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I'll interrupt a minute to say I'm impressed with the monitor. Wish it were bigger, but the blur is not what I feared and down grading from 1440p to 1080 fine. Also impressed by just how much high fps alleviate so many problems, from tearing to blur to lag. You have to put out the fps to let this mo...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
i scoured the internet and this forum post and i wasn't able to find values tested in that manner, i've spent the last 4 hours searching for reviews, posts but i wasn't able to find anything trustworthy, please lend me a hand. Looks on par with other 240hz monitors. The faster panels have a refresh...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I may pick this up today. VRB can be used at 240hz right? Might reduce blur. I thought you posted a video of that but can't find it. The other videos look ok compared to my Dell S2716dg w/ ULMB.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I'm now only using this monitor with VRB off and it's in my opinion better than VRB Extreme when I can't output 390fps consistently Wondering if you prefer G-sync on to stop the tearing? Is tearing an issue at those hz? I can see why you don't like strobing with insufficient fps. If 144hz is too la...
