I'm in the united states, so I couldn't buy it yet. I'm so confused they have the 240 listed for £899.99 then I'm able to get a different model 27" OLED that they are listing for £1,099 but the specs still say 240...

This panel is real exciting. Can't wait for 1000Hz. Hopefully it comes till 2027.

Does anyone have info on the LG model or what it's even going to be called?

I've used benQ monitors since lightboost on the XL2711T which is probably 10+ years I've exclusively used BFI. When using the 240hz OLEDs I get motion sickness due to the amount of blur since I'm use to strobing my entire life. The 360HZ OLEDS look a little better but still not as good as strobing ...

I owned the LG 27 OLED and each time I turned the display off it ran pixel refresh and stayed off automatically which is great.

Swapped to the Asus for the SDR brightness and timings. I ran this panel for an entire day and it didn't automatically suggest pixel refresh even with my reminder set to 4 ...

Optimum plays a lot of OW and is keeping the OLED. Sure the motion clarity is slightly better on the IPS but in our old age the boost in contrast and outlines is better for me to see enemies quicker. Too early to say, but I don't really care if the panel lasts 3 years better technology will be out like 480hz OLED and etc. It sounds like gaming and PC usage is your hobby going off the 8-16 hours daily so the investment is probably worth it to buy a panel every 3 years.
