You need to go into the service menu and set the strobe phase to 000.
You should also be able to do it through the OSD by setting the Area to 000.
They are the same setting.

If it's just a black screen and NOT an out of range error, it's because the strobe phase/area is probably set past 50 ...

The only weird thing is that I still cannot get it to work with VT 1500. I always end up with a black-screen.

After work today I will go through every single step again and make sure I didn't miss anything. Mostly I don't, but I guess this time I missed ...

I was playing around in Service menu and changed Strobe duty to 016 and Phase to 040.

I will try Phase at 000 after some sleep. I appreciate your help!
