I was using 1350 at 120Hz, it worked great for awhile.
So you're saying 1500 at 120Hz should work better?

Re: Benq 2720Z no difference in blur reduction?
What are possible reasons to get a brightness pulsing malfunction? I frequently have the phenomenon of ~1Hz pulsing in brightness levels, very pronounced on when displaying brighter colors. I have V3 firmware, VT tweak, 120Hz, blur buster anti-strobe, pixel clock patcher (happened the same with and ...

Re: BenQ XL2720Z - XL2420Z V4 firmware download
My XL2720Z came from Amazon with V3 firmware, I'm wondering if there's any reason to flash to V5, is it worth the trouble?
Also any reason to use ToastyX pixel clock patcher to remove the limits, the VT 1350 tweak and strobe utility seem to be working fine with the DVI-D dual cable it came with.

Re: XL2720z V2 + BB Strobe Utility = Greatest Gaming Monitor
This guide here is good: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/2zr8he/how_to_take_your_benq_z_series_monitor_to/ Unfortunately you'll get the best results with 120hz instead of 144hz and making use of the VT tweaks, at least with the UFO test this definitely looks the best, I haven't tried ...

Re: XL2720z V2 + BB Strobe Utility = Greatest Gaming Monitor
Okay I'll use the S-switch, thanks. Any advice for ToastyX settings and VT tweaks, I want 144hz (or OC higher?) for my FPS profile, not sure if there's any beneficial VT setting at that frequency. And for eye care application use, I'm not sure if it's best to keep blur reduction on or off. I have of...

Re: XL2720z V2 + BB Strobe Utility = Greatest Gaming Monitor
Two Part question-- I've had an XL2720z running well for a months now with blurbuster anti-stobe utility, and hidden AMA setting activated, came with v3 firmware, and done some contrasts and other settings adjustments. 1. I was thinking of trying to get some more out of it with further tweaking sett...

Re: 200Hz Display review/questions
I don't question your knowledge, I just think I've been getting answers to a different but related and simpler question. Alright, I've gone and read most the complaints, and yes it seems a lot or most were over trying to run higher rates than firmware or EDID would allow, IE 1502 VT and 128hz or sim...

Re: 200Hz Display review/questions
They can't go above 120Hz/144Hz because monitor's firmware rejects higher refresh rate. Almost all monitors has firmwares that rejects higher refresh rates. It's not cable limitation at all. No, the firmware limits to 144hz, they want use something like 128Hz with blur buster utility and VT mod but...

Re: 200Hz Display review/questions
I'm not an expert on this, been trying to find answers, so now I'm left wondering. How you able to get 1920x1080 @ 200Hz (without issues) through a DVI-D dual link or Displayport cable? I've seen a lot people complaining able not going above 120hz (without issues) on say a xl2720z with good AMA and ...
