jormit have you got the input latency testing equipment yet? I'd like to see the testing.
I think it'd be a good idea to start a thread to compile every input lag trick to help speed up the testing and have all the results in 1 spot

Re: 1600 dpi is better than 800 or 400 dpi due to faster mouse latency
There is an era of mice that when running at non native dpi performed much worse. High DPI mice use smoothing. They add lag to the mouse to give it's program time to clean out all of the errors it is making. Unfortunately, it's disregards dpi for this. A 4000dpi mouse that requires a bunch of smooth...

Re: For people with input lag/desync ONLY in csgo (mainly faceit ac)
I think the better way to do it is to set high priority for Faceit AC in process manager. I retested it couple of times and setting processor scheduling to background services definitely reduces my in-game performance while setting high priority for Facet AC only at worst doing nothing. It has been...

Re: USB ports input lag problems
A common problem with usb port input lag is that windows will put your graphics card and usb on the same IRQ (interrupt request channel) USB are paired in 2 and sometimes 1 or more of these groups are on the same IRQ. This is a known issue. I forgot how to check but you can just google it. Another s...

Try this: https://www.overclock.net/threads/how-to-clean-install-a-new-mouse-2-windows-usb-bugs-affecting-most-people.1750736/#post-28522852 I guess, from an extremely small test sample, that about 50% of windows installations mess up when installing the mouse and keyboard. It puts the mouse's keybo...

Re: Overclocking mouse polling rate
I got a cheap like 5$ mouse to go from 125hz to 1000hz stable. 2000hz would constantly tick between 2000hz and 1000hz, but let me tell you overclocking a mouse IS REALLY A PAIN. I would suggest buying a better mouse. I'm really happy with my new 35$ mouse. edit: yeah my bad you want 2k to 8k. That i...

Re: Some Question about USB and TIMERS
There is a glitch where windows will put the mouse's keyboard drivers above the keyboard drivers causing issues for the mouse. https://www.overclock.net/threads/how-to-clean-install-a-new-mouse-2-windows-usb-bugs-affecting-most-people.1750736/#post-28522852 The is a huge thread on timers and when/ho...

Re: Triple buffering, flip queue, D3D9ex, FastSync...
I feel like I explained it poorly. no sync swap read buffer to write buffer when write buffer is complete [ignore monitor] double buffer vsync swap read buffer to write buffer IF write buffer is complete [and the monitor requests] else read from read buffer again triple buffer vsync swap read buffer...

Re: Pre-Rendered Frames (scam!?)
What is the difference between reflex and null? 1 pre-rendered frame cpu generates next data when the previous data has been used, attempts to keep a buffer of 1 full null cpu generates next data when the previous data has been used reflex cpu generates next data after frame completion? cpu generate...
