Ultrawide monitors with GSYNC and FREESYNC with HDMI 2.0?
I'm currently using an Acer X34 which is great but it only supports 1920x1080 (60 Hz) on the HDMI port. I'm looking for at least 1920x1440 or better yet 2560x1440p. The LG 34GN850 looks nice but I've heard it doesn't support "variable overdrive" because it doesn't have an actual g-sync chip. Is this...

DirectX lag testing tool? SMTT? (re: Steam latency, etc)
I'd like to test how the latency when using Steam streaming. There are a bunch of different video encoders and other settings that can be modified but I need a way to test the latency between of them. I think if I had a DirectX application then I could use that with Steam streaming and then use a hi...

How can I check my TV (or external monitor) input latency?
This isn't exactly related to Blur Busters (i.e. 120 Hz) but hopefully somebody here could help me anyways... I'm trying to test some TVs and monitors (and A/V equipment) for input/display latency but I don't have a CRT or high-speed camera (just a DSLR). Can I use my laptop to perform the test? I'v...

Re: G-Sync 690 Doesnt work
Hmmm, I have an EVGA GTX 690 and a G-SYNC monitor and they are working perfectly fine.
Perhaps one of the parts is defective?

Re: G-SYNC: Doesn't support 3D mode? (and neither does ULM
Thanks for the information. I didn't realize LightBoost was being automatically enabled when in 3D mode.
I've only had the monitor for a couple of days before I installed G-SYNC so I didn't get a chance to check 3D before the G-SYNC module was installed for comparison

G-SYNC: Doesn't support 3D mode? (and neither does ULMB?)
I'm still fooling around with my G-SYNC monitor but a couple of interesting things... 1) If I enable 3D Vision and then try to enable G-SYNC, it says that Stereoscopic (3D) will be disabled. 2) If I disable G-SYNC and use 120 Hz to play a 3D Vision game, ULMB doesn't work and says it's not supported...

Re: G-Sync first impressions
Last night I had a couple of minutes to test G-SYNC... and so far I'm not too impressed but I need to do some more testing. Here's my system: Intel i5-2500k CPU 8 GB RAM Windows 8.1 GTX 690 (driver 331.82) SSD drive (one SSD for games and another for OS) The first game I tried was Bioshock Infinite....
