Re: VRB less effective at increasing Hz Acer Nitro XF252Q

Wow, Chief, thanks for a great explanation!
So, we need to just wait...
But anyway this Acer is a great gaming monitor at the moment due to it's panel, price and inputlag IMO.

Re: I have the best 144Hz monitor ever, should I buy 240Hz?

Already ordered XF252Q Please test it in "high Hz, low FPS" scenario and let us know your impression about it. Older 240Hz model seemed to fail in artifact-free performance on low FPS, which seems to not be the case with this new Acers. Tested it in CSGO with fps_max 50, nothing happens. What shoul...

Re: VRB less effective at increasing Hz Acer Nitro XF252Q

Got this monitor (XF252Q) yesterday and 100.00% AGREE WITH YOU. It's a great monitor for that price (300 USD), maybe one of the best from 240Hz, but.. ULMB(VRB) are PURE CRAP with this monitor. It's just making image worse in dynamics. Best settings to use is: 240Hz Ultra low latency - ON OverDrive ...

K, guys! Thanks a lot. Already ordered XF252Q, will try it out in a few days. Great price (costs just 300 USD here).
Seems like it must be a lot better than 27GK750F-B and cheaper. Also I don't need 27" for my setup.

LG 27GK750F-B for example? The only thing I need - low inputlag, less overshoot, fast pixel response. Colors and other crap doesn't matter.
Or It's better to wait for something faster (0.5ms- 240Hz+)?

Go buy Toshiba or something or stick with your CRT. Cya.
Imbecile, all TNs are bad. And your XL2720Z too. Also it's terrible w/o this idiotic firmware bug. And you are an idiot because you are buying a monitor to exploit a bug LOL. Sh1teater.

Re: Is it possible to get a decent 144Hz screen? (QC?)

http://i.imgur.com/MYIdcAP.jpg Got my Asus MG279Q today and I think I will return it and get a new one... :( What if another one would be the same? Or worse? IMO the only option is to get a dual monitors setup: one GAYming, one normal. While this new fancy (crappy) 144Hz all have color shift even i...

Glide
Ok, thanks for info.

So, all TNs are so bad?

Anyway on my ViewSonic it's not so noticeable. Just because of panel size?

Lololol. You don't even understand what that test means. In means my ViewSonic almost doesn't have color shift, when you're looking directly on it. While this new fancy (crappy) 144Hz all have color shift even if you looking directly in the center of the screen.

Re: Is it possible to get a decent 144Hz screen? (QC?)

Just look at this. This is ridiculous! A 110 EUR 21.5" TN 60Hz (ViewSonic VA2248-LED) is better than all this 400-700 EUR+ 144Hz TNs.
