Re: Are there input lag tests CRT vs 240 Hz?

Just wondering if CRTs are still faster. Short answer: Yes, they are. But by only 1-2 milliseconds max versus the best LCDs. Ok. Well, are there tests with concrete numbers? I would like to see something like this: CSGO Flood map 1000 measurements each test LCD 60 Hz 500 FPS: 13.26ms average LCD 12...

Are there input lag tests CRT vs 240 Hz?

Did anyone test and published their results for CRT vs 240+ Hz?

Something like this:
phpBB [video]

But for monitors respectively. Or automated tests using Arduino and photo- resistor/diode/transistor, doesn't really matter.

Just wondering if CRTs are still faster.

GeForce Powered High FPS CS:GO SLO-MO Video

https://youtu.be/uJxxCgKa0mU?t=72 I counted and model on 60 HZ is behind model on 240 Hz by 3 updates(3 updates on 60 Hz). Is that real? Or did they rig everything? If that was true, if my calculations are right, it would mean that lag on 60 Hz is 16.66(7)*3 = ~50ms bigger than on 240 Hz. Is there ...

Re: There's 10ms more input lag on Nvidia than on AMD?

No! Those testes were simply influenced by the monitor Model he used! I can assure you this is not the case because I have several monitors and this never happened. Gsync activaded half input lag of Gsync oFF? No way, this is a problem with that Asus model, nothing else and I´m sure he will adress ...

There's 10ms more input lag on Nvidia than on AMD?

So I watched this video:
phpBB [video]

Does that mean that on Nvidia video cards there's 10ms more lag than on AMD cards in CS:GO? Is there a test on normal monitor AMD vs Nvidia in CS:GO with in-game FPS cap somewhere?

Re: flood's input lag measurements

CS 1.6 would actually be worse because you play CS 1.6 with a 100fps cap. Why would you ever cap CS 1.6 to 100FPS? Mouse sensitivity is dependent on FPS. Idk about 100 FPS, but you definitely want to lock it on a number that you can constantly sustain. I personally have it on default of 300 iirc. I...

Re: CSGO feels like 60hz

Ive deleted all windows apps. Im using the 372.90 driver and using the nvidia settings for performance. Ive also always installed drivers that way. Im using -freq 144 -tickrate 128 -novid and -high as it gives me like a 15% fps boost. I cant change from gpu to display scalling even after creating a...

Re: flood's input lag measurements

As for your test setup, can you measure the latency of your setup responding to the LED it illuminates? Yes, I was thinking about that, to determine the deviation. But I don't know what's the deviation of LEDs themselves, like, in what time range LEDs light up? Is it, let's say, 10.5-10.75 ms or is...
