why can't i use elmb sync with asus tuf VG249Q1R?
https://www.asus.com/ph/Monitors/TUF-Gaming-VG249Q1R/ on the asus official website it says that i could use elmb together with Adaptive-sync, but this is not the case and I am forced to choose one of the two modes and I cannot use both at the same time, because for some reason always that activates ...

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options
I prefer maintain pixel sharpness, color quality and higher frequency. Ok high quality GPU AA cause excesive GPU load, is needed upgrade GPU, but result in better image quality. If resolution is forced beyond physical pixel size, allways result in blurred image. Some people use CRT even with custom...

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options
undoubtedly great news, in the future is good to develop a method to take advantage of the natural anti-aliasing benefits that we see on crt monitor screens that are mentioned a lot by users of these monitors, where we don't need to use anti-aliasing of software that greatly reduces the fps of a game.

Re: LPD: Laser Phosphor Display - Successor to CRT?
I can see that blur busters are having a certain influence on the market decisions of monitors, to the point of arousing the interest of companies such as Sony, Optoma, Panasonic, LG, Epson, Xiaomi, BenQ ... that are currently doing research and reports on the demand for FED, SED and LPD screens in ...

Re: GPU Boost 2.0 can increase refresh rates of monitors 144
taken from the own nvidia site. It's not true what that site says. It would appear someone at NVidia was horribly confused. Or they simply forgot to actually remove the pixel clock limit from the driver after making the announcement. In either case, good luck trying to OC an SL-DVI 60Hz monitor pas...

Re: GPU Boost 2.0 can increase refresh rates of monitors 144
taken from the own nvidia site. Display Overclocking: Unleashing Your Monitor’s Potential Many PC gamers play with VSync enabled to avoid unsightly image tearing that occurs when the frame rate is higher than the monitor’s refresh rate. Most monitors are locked to 60Hz, limiting the max VSync frame ...

Re: GPU Boost 2.0 can increase refresh rates of monitors 144
I don't know what it is they're talking about. GPU Boost 2 has nothing to do with monitor refresh rate. I have a GTX 780 which has GPU Boost 2.0, and it won't allow me to OC my monitor unless I apply a third-party patch to the driver, because NVidia places a limit on the pixel clock. By default, th...

GPU Boost 2.0 can increase refresh rates of monitors 144hz?
just out of curiosity, I was reading about this article here about GPU Boost 2.0: Monitor Overclocking Now here's where a couple of your guys will say "huh?". Pretty much all monitors have a maximum of 60 Hz and thus can only show 60 frames per second. Did you know that a lot of monitors actually ca...
