Garry, can you tell me which graphics card are you using? (regarding banding).

No problem man! Well here's why colors matter even if you'are not color sensitive. You see, you need to set RGB values. After a while you will get serious eye/headache fatigue if it's not calibrated .

Btw, you will overcome the cons, they are not much of a big deal vs the pros. Are you positive about banding is only this screen? My Laptop TN panel is also 6bit, but i doesn't show banding AT ALL. It has Dithering which smoothes everything. There is NO true 8bit TN ...

^ No, he's just assuming. The Foris and this panel are completely different. They are similar, but there are enough differences that you have to recheck things .A lot of that thread is assumption, so I just left the most clear tested facts here

Where do you see 6 bit+dithering? This monitor is 8bit+dithering. Surely it is not a true 10 bit (only some pro panels are)
but it's not a 6 bit.

You can use multiple displays, but NOT in clone mode . If you clone it, the refresh rate is the lowest denominator. I have my 43" m43 c1 Vizio at 60hz and my Hkc X3 at 120hz. No problem!!
