Re: Request to test FPS and Standard Benq display mode lag
That's a good point about FPS mode being default mode, more reason to ask why they would chose that over standard for everyone out of the box experience with the monitor

Request to test FPS and Standard Benq display mode lag
There were lag tests of the display modes on a BenQ monitor posted a while back but I cant find the original article again. Im not sure it was even a 144Hz display, but they stated FPS and standard modes had no difference in input lag from measurements. I have had this in mind for quite a while but ...

240Hz monitor input lag?
Hi, Ive been using my XL2411Z with blur reduction and AMA disabled because I found it did add a slightly noticeable amount of lag, and I find my CRT still has a slight edge over the LCD. Is it correct the XL2411Z is still among the lowest input lag for an LCD? I was interested in a new 240Hz monitor...

Re: Strobe Utility 2.0 BETA Download!
I see some posts from a few years ago that say a later strobe phase of 100 has no input lag where earlier 0 has 1 frame. earliers seems like it would have less lag so im wondering if that was a bug, what settings has zero input lag? 0 or 100? the crosstalk bar is roughly in the same place at 0 and 1...

backlight strobing on a 60Hz monitor without strobe support?
Is it possible to enable backlight strobing on a 60Hz monitor that doesnt support it? Im under the impression that any LCD has the hardware capabilities for strobing but of course lacks the firmware/software to support it. If this is the case would it be possible to enable strobing for my BL2420PT a...

Re: Benq BL2420PT overclockability?
Seriously your monitor might be 6bit also. But yea, just overclock it. Most Benq 60hz can reach 75-80 before they complain. I double checked this and Benq has 8 bit and 16.7 million colours listed in the official specs. Dell conveniently only has '16.7 million colours' listed and it was a review th...

Benq BL2420PT overclockability?
searched the net and found no info about overclocking this monitor, its a 1440p 60Hz IPS for those who dont know. I decided to buy this over the Dell P2416D because shockingly the dell is only 6 bit dithered the monitors are otherwise identical in specs and price. the Dell however has reports of ach...
