144 Hz Monitor Switching to 120 Hz sometimes
Hey everyone, I own a ViewSonic XG2401. Sometimes the refresh rate switching to 120 Hz automatically. It's not happening often, just rarely (like sometimes twice a week, sometimes once a month). When it happens it happens right after a cold boot most of the times. To switch back to 144 hz, I usually...

Re: Viewsonic XG2401 and Interlace Pattern Artifacts [Invers
Thanks a lot for this in depth answer Chief. This clears away most of my questions. I do have another small question though. Do these artifacts increase or decrease in time? I mean, I didn't really notice them for months. Probably I was just not paying attention or sitting a bit far from the monitor...

Re: Viewsonic XG2401 and Interlace Pattern Artifacts
Actually google " inversion artifacts ". Complaints have come up with amplified inversion artifacts on some high-refresh-rate monitors. Not often, but it happens... Not all of them are prone to them, but this definitely looks like an LCD inversion pattern (a grid of positive and negative voltages t...

Viewsonic XG2401 and Interlace Pattern Artifacts [Inversion]
Hello folks, I've been using VS XG2401 for almost 6 months now. I'm quite happy with it. But recently I've started noticing some woven/fishnet like faint artifacts while playing some games and video contents, like described in this detailed review https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/viewsonic-xg2401/ . ...

Yeah, I just read that there's a firmware update to fix this. I'm sure it will get fixed.
I'm just wondering how couldn't you notice that before?

Re: AOC 2460F doesn't display 144hz??!
Ok, I am really annoyed right now because I found out that my monitor doesn't display 144hz, it says ti does but I was proven wrong bu ufo test frame skipping test, when I switch to 60 it goes completely smooth thorugh all boxes but with "144hz" it skips most. I bought this monitor around 7 months ...

Didn't know that. Which panel they use?Q83Ia7ta wrote:It's typo. All 24" TN 144Hz monitors based on same lcd panel so it doesn't matter overclocked it or not.

Re: ViewSonic XG2401 refresh rate paradox
No it's not a typo. 144hz is *STILL* not a standard refresh rate, as far as timings go. In normal frequency range and timings, refresh rates usually go up only to 123-128 hz. Officially it's 123hz, which is why ToastyX Custom resolution utility will not allow you to enter a standard refresh rate hi...

So it's just a typo then.Q83Ia7ta wrote:http://www.viewsonic.com/us/xg2401-2.html
144Hz

144Hz
Still it's weird they made that type of mistake.
Is there a way to understand that if the panel is overclocked or not?

ViewSonic XG2401 refresh rate paradox
Hello everyone,
I just found a conflicting spec about XG2401.
http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/eu/produ ... php#pSpecs
You can see from the specs the frequency is 24-120hz. Isn't it supposed to be a 144hz monitor.
Is it overclocked or something? or just an amateur typo?
