Re: I got the ROG Swift (PG278Q) -- my tests
I'm just leaving this here because i have no idea where else i could put it ^^ Did some Slow Motion test with a 960fps and 120fps Camera (my Phone, Sony XZ2) with different Settings. Screens taken out of the 960FPS video: https://i.imgur.com/do0lp70.png On 960fps there are around 5 Frames between th...

Re: Understanding Display Scan-Out Lag Via High Speed Video
Less accurate slo-mo smartphones but somewhat educational - Huawei P20 smartphone "960fps"; it does something that reduces scientific accuracy of scanout recording. However, these are fine for filming 60Hz displays. The Samsung and Sony sensors have an on chip 256mb RAM which stores the 960fps Full...

Re: FreeSync + audio bitstreaming?
I would like to use FreeSync while also bitstream audio to my receiver. Using two different slots on your VGA for the display and receiver doesn't work because you need to go into multi monitor mode to transmit the sound. Freesync doesn't work in multi monitor mode Uhm, sorry i don't really follow....

Re: Samsung C49hg90 144hz Freesync 2.0
its a HUGE difference. There is the ghosting issue in the Freesync Demo, which is way less without Freesync. But the other thing is Ingame Freesync makes the game feel laggy, i've tried in Deus Ex Mankind Divided and some others, but they all just feel delayed or slaggy. So i've deactivated it for n...

Re: Samsung C49hg90 144hz Freesync 2.0
First thing that should be mentioned is the horrible DPI. it's similar to a 27" 1080p Monitor. If you're used to a 23" 1080p Monitor... it's way worse. After a while you get used to it. The Monitor did get Certified by VESA as first HDR600 Monitor but sadly Games are nowhere near ready for that. And...

Samsung C49hg90 144hz Freesync 2.0
Hello, I've just bought a Samsung C49HG90 Monitor. The first 32:9 Monitor ever Produced, with Freesync 2 which supports HDR 10bit. Sadly i'm currently only able to run 120hz on my Win10 Machine with a R9-290. But the Freesync Range is reported as 48-120hz. What is the easiest way to test if LFC is w...
